Jihye Im - Bio
Jihye Im is a jazz pianist from South Korea, who is actively performing on the Montreal jazz scene. She has recently completed her Master’s degree in Jazz Performance at McGill University (2024). She identifies strongly with a rich and varied jazz tradition. In addition to performing, Jihye is active in composing and arranging for both small and large ensembles. Some of her awards include the Graduate Excellence Award, Jan Jarczyk Scholarship and the J.L Big band Scholarship.
